VYPE: Did you have any teammates that you admire or that supported you?
Quincy Hopkins: My teammates that supported me have been Jayden Mott and Ryan Reynolds.
VYPE: What preparation have you taken this off-season to better equip yourself for the upcoming season?
QH: The preparation I’ve taken is just getting in the gym, working on my shot and being able to get to my spots.
VYPE: Who has been your favorite coach throughout your career and how did they impact you as a player?
QH: My favorite coach throughout my career has been Coach Cam because he helps bring out confidence in me as a player and as a person.
VYPE: What matchup are you most looking forward to this season?
QH: I look forward to seeing Crossings Christian the most this year.
VYPE: What do you hope to accomplish this season (individual or team goals)?
QH: I hope as a team we accomplish a State Championship this year.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
QH: My sport has taught me just how important consistency is and I use that daily.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory in your sport?
QH: My favorite memory has been playing in the State Championship game last year.
VYPE: Who was your favorite teacher and how were they influential in your life?
QH: My favorite teacher has been Coach Mays because his teachings transcend the classroom and the court.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
QH: My plans after high school are to go to college and play basketball at the highest level I am able to.
