“Saliyah Landon played as a freshman during the 2020-2021 season with her best game being in the area finals to go to the state tournament, so we are looking for her to continue building on last season’s success,” said coach Kyle Richey.

VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Landon: What I love most about my teammates is that we share the best moments on the court and in the hotel rooms. We love screaming “and one!” What I love about the team as a whole is that we love being around each other, we love hanging outside of basketball and I enjoy every moment with them.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
Landon: My favorite subject in school is either Physical Science or World History. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Hayden Robbins.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life, on or off the court?
Landon: A big influence in my life is of course my mother. She’s always been there when I had no one there for me, she pushes me every day to be great and to love everything I do. She pushes me to be the best I can in basketball, and I play just like she did back in the day.
