Titans sophomore Quincy Hopkins can play multiple positions thanks to his athleticism and size. Carl Albert head coach Jay Price said Hopkins is one underclassman you should watch.
“Quincy is a strong, physical player that can score inside and outside,” said coach Price.
We caught up with Hopkins to get his thoughts on the team and who has influenced him in his young life.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Hopkins: What I love most about my teammates is their will to win. Every single one of them plays like losing is not an option.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
Hopkins: My favorite subject is currently geometry with Mr. Humphrey.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life? Explain
Hopkins: My oldest brother has been a big influence on my life because he’s accomplished one of my dreams already, playing Division I for basketball. I look up to him and take all the advice I can get from him.
