Carl Albert senior Maggie Moore brings discipline, confidence and a team-first mindset to the Lady Titans volleyball program.
A middle blocker with five years of volleyball experience, Moore embraces the demanding nature of her position. From protecting the net to contributing offensively, she knows each point can require sustained effort.
“I play middle blocker the most challenging thing is long rallies of blocking and hitting,” Moore said.
That perseverance reflects what Moore values most about her teammates and the culture they create together.
“I love our dedication and the way we push each other every day even unmotivated,” Moore said.
Moore said her club coach, Abby, has been a major influence on her development. Coach Abby played at Carl Albert before continuing her volleyball career at Hendrix University, and Moore credits her guidance with helping shape her as both an athlete and person.
“My biggest inspiration is my club coach at Stingray, Coach Abby. She used to play at Carl Albert and later continued her volleyball career at Hendrix University. She took me in when I was just 13 years old and has pushed me to become the player I am today. Coach Abby has always believed in me, challenged me to work harder, and helped me grow both on and off the court. I truly would not be where I am today without her support and guidance,” Moore said.
She also draws motivation from former teammate Chandler Cordray, a 2026 graduate whose leadership left a lasting impression.
Away from volleyball, Moore has competed in track for six years and participates in National Honor Society and Student Council. She hopes to continue competing in volleyball or track in college while pursuing a degree in sports medicine.
“I am a senior, I would like to go to college on a scholarship for volleyball or track, while on a sports medicine degree,” Moore said.
Moore said last season taught her not to let setbacks determine her path. Her focus remains on improving communication and consistency while bringing her disciplined approach to every opportunity.
