VYPE MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES THE 2022 SHELTER INSURANCE MR. FOOTBALL AWARD WINNER: XAVIER ROBINSON FROM CARL ALBERT HIGH SCHOOL
TULSA, OK (January 9th, 2023) – VYPE Magazine and Shelter Insurance are proud to announce the winner of the Mr. Football Oklahoma Award, Xavier Robinson of Carl Albert High School. Robinson becomes the eleventh player to win the coveted award and the first Mr. Football Oklahoma to represent Carl Albert High School.
The Shelter Insurance Mr. Football Oklahoma Award recognizes the outstanding athletic achievements of Xavier Robinson and the high standards of athletic excellence and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field, which distinguishes Robinson as Oklahoma’s best high school football player this season.
Robinson finished a great season with Carl Albert High School by helping his team to a Class 5A state championship. Under the leadership and guidance of head coach Mike Dunn, Robinson helped lead the team to a, 12-2 season, finishing the year ranked No. 1 in Class 5A.
VYPE Magazine Publisher Austin Chadwick said of Robinson, “He’s just a kid you want to cheer for,” said Chadwick. “Robinson is a great representative of Carl Albert High School and their commitment to the student-athlete. Robinson left an impression on everyone who watched him play. The staff at VYPE Magazine and Shelter Insurance would like to congratulate Xavier Robinson on winning the Shelter Insurance Mr. Football Oklahoma Award.”
